Fin Keegan



  • In April 2017, I co-organised The Unplugged Soul: A Conference on the Podcast, held at Pulitzer Hall, Columbia University, New York. As part of my role, I chaired the keynote session, featuring podcast pioneers Dave Winer (creator of the first podcast feed) and Chris Lydon (host of the first podcast show).

  • Previously I was a producer at the NPR affiliate for Southern Nevada and Southern Utah, KNPR, where I won a regional EMA for my work. Segments featured ex-Beatle Pete Best, architect Frank Gehry, journalist Carl Bernstein, broadcaster Ira Glass, politicians John Kerry and Harry Reid, political theorist Frances Fukuyama, art critic Dave Hickey and composer Jerry Herman. Our team also produced interviews with Arianna Huffington, Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter, among many others.
  • My short story, "Remembering Albert", read by Marcella Riordan, was broadcast on the BBC World Service in 1998
